My wife and I were in town for our two boy's high school basketball shoot-out. We help the team out when we can, like getting bottled water or snacks. My wife always tries to wash their uniforms after these all-day events. The hotel staff saw the laundry bag and asked if we needed wanted them to wash and dry the uniforms. Couldn't have been more helpful. They did that two days in a row. That's above-and-beyond service that needs recognized. Thank you staff at Athens Central Hotel!

The staff is exceptional. Ben, Angie, Jess, and Dominic at the front desk were incredibly accommodating. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond. I was there for a week and felt as if I made actual friends. Also, I need to mention the pillows. I've been searching for good pillows for years, and finally found what I need in this hotel. (Hint: quilted organic cotton covers with shredded memory foam within.) All of the bedding is so so comfy. Oh, and the shower! Glorious.

We liked how warm, friendly, and personable the guy was that greeted us when we checked in around 10 pm Christmas night. My wife loved the setup of the room. She likes how when you open the room door, you don't automatically see the bed first. It's spacious and private. We Both liked how clean it was. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets smelled wonderful. We liked the Christmas decor. We liked the nativity scene.

Every little thing was thought about when planning for guests. The towels in the bathroom were fluffy, the absorbent mat didn't slip, the lighting was bright, the clean wood veneer flooring, the firm excellent pillows, the huge flat screen tv, ...I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was fantastic and soo kind. The location is 1 block away from the shops and restaurants and only a few blocks from campus.

Ben greeted me and I felt comfortable right away. I came back to ask a question and again, he answered with good conversation. The room was clean, and had a very comfortable lounger with a foot rest. The fridge contained complimentary waters and sodas. In the morning, Matthew told me about the Lunatic Asylum, which I did go to and am so glad he told me about it.
